Stop GM Contamination: Stop GM Alfalfa

Stopping the release of GM alfalfa is the only way to stop contamination.

The Canadian government approved the first varieties of genetically engineered alfalfa in 2013: a herbicide tolerant (Roundup Ready) alfalfa from Monsanto/Forage Genetics International. This means that GM alfalfa is now legal to sell in Canada however, GM alfalfa seeds are not yet on the market in Canada! Companies did not release GM alfalfa in Canada in 2014 but they want to sell it in 2016!
