SBSTTA-13: Groups Issue Joint Commentary on GE Trees
CBAN joined groups from all over the world to present the attached analysis at the UN Convention on Biological Diverisity's SBSTTA meeting in Rome, Italy to demand that the CBD issue a moratorium on the release of genetically engineered trees into the environment.

This paper is a critique of the information document on GE trees made available by the Convention on Biological Diversity for the consideration of government delegates. At issue is the civil society demand for a moratorium on GE tree field tests and commercial releases.
